Winnie & Walter Leading Lady Week 3

Hello, all! =) Here is my card for this week's Leading Lady post for the Winnie & Walter Blog.

This week I decided to play with the Cover Model: Do You See What I See? Cutaway. I used cardstock in Winnie & Walter colors and used the negatives of the die cut for a colorful background. Once again, I used a cutout of the frame as my guide when I glue those little shapes with foam tape.

For a colorful background like this, a dark sentiment would stand out best, so I used one of the happy words from the In a Word: Happy Coordinating Cutaways and shimmery cardstock for the first part of the sentiment. Since stamping on the background would be challenging, I used my Dymo label maker to create the second half of the sentiment.

Again, this one took some time to make, but I found it therapeutical doing it while watching or listening to my favorite TV or podcasts. Hope you likey! =)

Have a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Yay for old school Dymo label makers!! My first one was when I was maybe in 7th grade or so...back in the early 70s! (Yes...I am THAT old!!! lol..) I had some purple and pink flower power looking tape to use with it. SO MUCH FUN!!! Ha. I got rid of my original a long time ago, but a few years ago I picked one up at a thrift store for old time's sake. :)

Love your bright and colorful card, Alice! That is such a fun pattern for the background. Spectacular!

I don't think I would have the patience to put together all those pieces but what an impressive card! Gotta love the dymo label maker tape, which gives a nice retro look to your design.
