a snowman Christmas card

It's been so hot here in the Bay Area for the past few days I have to post this card just to make myself feel a little cooler... =)

This card is for Hero Arts blog "color it" challenge this week and also for Moxie Fab World's Stretch Your holiday Style with a Stamping challenge.

The background is colored with chalk again and I am really loving the soft look. I have had this stack of chalk from EK Success since I started scrapbooking and card-making about 3 1/2 years ago and rarely used it. Now it's like a rediscovered gem to me and I am sure I'll use it more often!

The snowman is colored with Copic markers. Okay, I know snowmen are not supposed to have flesh colors on them, but I was having a lot of fun coloring...

The sentiment is stamped with black in first then traced over with Diamond Stickles.

ingredients used:
cardstocks: Papertrey Ink
stamps, gems: Hero Arts
inks: Memento, VersaMark
markers: Copic
white gel pen: Uni-ball Signo
chalk: EK Success
glitters: Stickles by Ranger

Thanks for stopping by!

I didn't even occurred to me that he had "flesh" color, I just love all the colors you had on it. It's beautiful! I survived the Saturday heat wave too. : )
