Practicing Creativity May release sneak peek

Hello everyone! I am here to share my sneak peek cards using Practicing Creativity's May release with you. Since this month's release is a masculine set, Courtney challenged us to make both a manly card and a everyday card. Here are mine:

As you know, I am very much manly card challenged. Courtney's new stamp set "You're the Man" really helped with solving this problem. See those cool bolt images! It is so easy to build a masculine background with and the sentiment panel is really fun, too. The teal ribbon is from May Arts and is also available at Courtney's store. You can find the ribbon collection at Courtney's store here.

Here is the inside of the card. This is probably the best manly card I have ever made! =) Thanks for making it easy to make masculine cards, Courtney!

As you can see, I managed to make a very girly card using this set, too. LOL! I used the solid tire track background building stamp vertically with PTI's Sweet Blush ink and tried to create a herringbone-ish pattern for the bottom part of my card. I then lined the separate sentiment pieces side by side and stamped a few times randomly with PTI's Spring Rain for the top portion. I stacked the sentiments for the main sentiment panel and covered the manly bolts at the corners with some K& Company pearls.

That's all for now. Don't forget to check out Courtney's blog, she has more sneak peek cards for you and she is also featuring my cards! =) There is also a chance to win this new set, so make sure you visit her blog!

Oh! Just in case you missed it. Courtney's sneak peeks yesterday featured one of the other DT - Paulina's cards you can see them at Courtney's blog here and at Paulina's blog here.

Hope your week is off to a awesome start! Please come back later for my 2 Sketches 4 You post! =)
