Azalea & Squgglefly Challenge #71

Hi all! I am sharing two cards with you today. First one is one of the cards that I made for All That Scraps September release.

I used the pretty Azalea for this card. She is one of the Twisted Sisters from Amy Young's Sweet November Stamps. Azalea is so cute and such fun to color! I used Amy's curly hair coloring tutorial as the guide to color Azalea's hair.

I tried to make her look less twisted and thought that she would be perfect for a friendship card with these fun colors.

The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket's lovely Togetherness collection and the sentiment is from the Victorian Fripperie set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. The seam binding is dyed with barn door distress ink and the butterfly are punched using this Martha Stewart punch.

My second card is made for this week's challenge over at the Squgglefly Challenge Blog. The challenge is to use this cute image to make a card. You can get this image for free here if you are interested in joining the fun. I hope you do! =) A very sweet friend shared these lovely patterned paper from Memory Box with me. The pretty colors are just perfect for this baby card. Thanks a bunch, girl! love ya! =)

Also, I am joining many other card makers for the Caring Hearts Blog Hop on the 23rd of October. The talented and caring Vera organized this card drive to send holiday cards to elders living in nursing homes, care center or assisted living place. It's a sweet and heartwarming cause, hope you can join us! Here is the Blog Hop detail, and there is still time to sing up!

That's all for today. Happy Wednesday, my friends! =)

The baby card is just darling. Soft and sweet and as always, beautifully colored.
I won't be able to comment for the next few days. Flying to Chicago tonight. Hanging out with girlfriends and taking the intermediate Copic certification. Wish you were going so we could meet! Are you living close? There is still room in the class.

Hugs and smiles
