Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #48

If you are here for the Jane's Doodles Blog Hop, please scroll down or click here. Thanks!

Hi all! Thanks for joining me for a card for this week's Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge. Here is this week's challenge:

Sparkle Creations is the sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches and we are combing two challenges. Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I mirrored the sketch to fit the image I wanted to use. I used the lovely Rainy Day Ruby for my card. I chose to paper piece her rain gear this time.

Ruby is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The image is then cut and embossed using a Labels 17 die (it's on sale!). The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a die from Tags Trio.

I paper pieced Ruby's umbrella, coat and rain boots with patterned paper. I went over the paper pieced parts with matching Copic markers for some dimension. The patterned paper is from the Neighborhood collection by Crate Paper and the sentiment comes with this stamp.

That's all I have. Please go and check out what the other design team members came up with for this challenge and find out all the details for the challenge here. Hope you can join us this week! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
