Henry on Globe & Melinda with Bouquet

Happy weekend, my friends! =) I have a couple of cards made using images from Whiff of Joy Stamps to share with you today. Many of you have asked for an out of frame die cutting tutorial and I made one! =) More about that later. First is a card made using one of the new stamps that will be released on August 1st.

It's a travel/adventure themed release for August and these images are perfect for your travel albums or layouts!

I used Henry on Globe for my card. He is colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White card stock with Copic markers. The image is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Petite Scalloped Ovals Large die before I stitched the layers together. The sentiment piece is cut using a Classic Ovals Large die and matted with patterned paper cut using a Classic Scalloped Ovals Large die.

The patterned paper is from the Campfire collection by October Afternoon and the sentiment is from the Travel and Adventure set.

This is the card that I made for the "Out of the Frame" tutorial over at the Whiff of Joy Inspiration & Tutorial Blog. A few of you have asked me to make this tutorial and here it is. Please hop over and take a look. =)

I used the beautiful Melinda with Bouquet for my sample card.

The patterned paper is from Tim Holtz' Idea-ology Shabby Chic collection and I used the Elegant Flourishes die for one of the patterned paper. Hope the tutorial is clear enough and hope you will give it a try. =)

That's all for today. Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!
