Just For You

Hi, all! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Here is a card that I made for the Texture It challenge over at the Inspiration Journal. The challenge is to add textures to your projects with embossing. It could be wet or dry embossing.

I think anyone that would bake me a batch of muffin/cupcake deserves a sun ray behind them. LOL! I am not good at baking and am lazy about it, so if you show up at my door with some yummies, you are my angel! =)

The adorable girl is from the OA-Just For You set by The Greeting Farm. Amelia is colored with Copic Markers. The background is made with the rays from the Rays & Retro Circles Texture Fade Embossing Folder set. I spritzed the embossing folder with Adirondack Sunset Orange Color Wash before putting the rustic cream cardstock in it to get the neat effect. Thanks to the super talented Karen Baker for this fun tip! =)

I did stamp the sentiment before embossing the paper. The background patterned paper is from the Odds & Ends collection by Cosmo Cricket and the sentiment is from the Kiss The Cook set by Hero Arts.

Don't forget to enter your embossed projects here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store! They carry a variety of stamps and all things Tim Holtz, so go and check it out! =)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
