Lily Pad Cards Patriotic Challenge

Happy Friday, everyone! Here is my card for this week's challenge over at Lily Pad Cards.

This week's sponsor is Some Odd Girl and the challenge theme is patriotic with a twist. The challenge is not restricted to your national colors and flag. You can even focus on your state, city, alma mater, sports team and feel free to use any images, colors, symbols, song lyrics, etc. to show your love and loyalty! See her red, white and blue ice cream? =)

I used Ice Cream Tia for my card and she is printed on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock. The image is then cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Small die then colored with Copic markers. The piece is matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Petite Ovals Large die before I stitched the layers together.

The patterned paper is from the Lime Twist Out Of The Blue collection by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment Jar Label die is from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from the Strawberries set by Flourishes.

That's all from me. Don't forget to check out what the other Dream Team members came up with for this challenge here. These girls are amazing! Hope you can join us this week! =)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

p.s. I am in the middle of transitioning from an old laptop to a new one (YAY!) and that's why I am very behind on visiting you. Please be patient with me and I'll visit you after everything is set up better. Thanks! =)
