PWCO July Release Blog Hop

Happy weekend and welcome to PaperWork Co. July Release Blog Hop! If you came from the PWCO Blog, you are on the right track. We are releasing four wedding themed images illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller this month. Here are my cards for the hop:

I used Driving to a new beginning for my first card. This is such a sweet image and did you see the mice couple on the rear bumper of the card? Too cute!

The image is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock then cut and embossed using a Labels 18 die. It's then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a die from the Grommet Tags die set. The image and sentiment pieces are inked with antique linen distress ink to match the patterned paper.

The patterned paper is from the Everafter collection by Cosmo Cricket. It's an oldie but perfect for wedding cards! =) The wonderful sentiment comes with this stamp.

the PWCO Blog is hosting a fun challenge for this release. Every DT member will provide their wedding (or dream wedding) color palettes along with their blog hop posts. Play along with at least on of the challenges by linking up on the PWCO Blog. You've got up to 9 entries (one entry per color palette) for a chance to win the ENTIRE release AND a July PaperCard Kit. You will have to create a new post for every post and link up each entry separately. The deadline of this challenge is 9AM MST on Monday, July 25, 2011.

Isn't this a fun challenge and a super prize? Here is my color palette according to my first card:

We had only a civil ceremony, so I didn't really have a wedding color to provide nor do I have a "dream wedding" color in mind. These colors are picked from my first card, it's as simple as that. =) Looking forward to seeing your creations using these colors!

Here is my second card for the release:

The image I used is Happiness is a piece of cake. Ahhhh.... gotta love that four tiered cake! =)

The image is cut and embossed using a Standard Circles Large die then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Standard Scalloped Circles Large die before I stitched the layers together. The Lacy Circles under it is printed with the new freebie that you can find and download here. You can use that in your projects for the color palette challenge if you don't have any PWCO images.

The patterned paper is once again from the Everafter collection and the sentiment comes with this stamp.

That's all from me. It's time to send you to Bella's blog. Hope you have fun hopping! =)

Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
