Sparkle Creations 1st Anniversary Release & Hop!!

Hi and welcome to Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps' 1st Anniversary Blog Hop! Not only are we here to help Sparkle celebrate a year of SCRS, but we are also releasing 4 new SCRS images this month -- Backpack Oliver, Bookworm Ruby, Hula Girl Lucy and Ukulele Josh. But wait, there is more. We are also releasing 2 new Karber Rubber Stamps -- Rainbow Leslie and Reading Millie! They are all available in the store now! Here is my card for the hop using one of the new stamps just released.

Have you guessed it? I just adore Bookworm Ruby, so here she is again! =)

Ruby is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock then colored with Copic markers. She is then cut and embossed using a Labels 17 die. I then masked the image and stamped the Late 1800's Script Background from Purple Onion Designs over her with antique linen distress ink. The whole piece is inked with the same ink while the paper was still in the die. The sentiment piece is made the same way only that it's cut and embossed using a Labels 18 die.

The patterned paper is once again from the beautiful Oxford collection by BasicGrey. The sentiment comes with this stamp.

We have assembled an all-star lineup consisting of our Current Design Team, DT Alumni and past/present Guest Designers. If you happened here by chance and would like to start from the beginning, the hop begins at the SCRS blog. Here is the complete hopping list:

And of course there are prizes up for grabs! We've hidden TEN single stamp prizes along the way and one lucky winner will win the ENTIRE July release! All you need to do is leave a comment at every stop along the way. You have until 11:59 PM EST on Sunday to leave comments for a chance to win! Winners will be announced on the SCRS blog on Monday. Good luck and have fun hopping!

Also, don't forget about the awesome sale Sparkle Creations is running this month:

Have fun hopping and thanks for stopping by!

I'm glad I bought this one! (along with several others, lol).
