Krafty Girl Challenge #121

Happy weekend, all! =) Hope the weather is being kind to you in your corner of the world. It's going to be a little chilly where we are this weekend, but I am looking forward to a little dinner get together with friends tonight. =)

Here is my card for this week's challenge over at the Krafty Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.

The host this week is Melanie and the challenge is "Going Green." You have to use something recycled in your projects. The "kraft" layer of my butterfly is cut from a piece of cardboard from a shipping box that my family used to ship goodies for me from Taiwan. =)

I used the beautiful Peony for my card. She is stamped on a piece of bristol paper, cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Labels Eleven die.

The patterned paper is from Miss Caroline Howdy Doody 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is from Flower Sentiment set. The butterfly is cut using WoJ's Cute Butterfly Trio die set.

For this week's Friday Specials, Elaine, Canine Capers 2, Andrea Acorn, Takara, Sunny the Turtle and Friends are for Hanging are all on sale for 40%-50% off!

That's all I have. Please go and check out what the other Kafty Girls and Krafty Guests came up with for this challenge and find out how to play along here. Hope you can join us this week! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!
