You May Kiss The Bride

This is my third post of the day. Please click here to see my post for Sparkle Creations June Preview Day 2 and click here to see my post for Sea Jewels Release Krafty Hop. Or you can scroll down and have a look of all three of my posts.  Thanks! =)

Hi ya, all! Hope a few of you are still with me. =) Today is also the release day over at A Day For Daisies and this week's release is called A June Wedding. Here is my card made using one of the beautiful images from the release.

We are combing this week's release with a new challenge over at A Day For Daisies Blog and the challenge theme is "Old, New, Borrowed & Blue." And you know what? As I type, I realized that I forgot to add blue in my card.... Epic fail!!! The old on my card is the sentiment from a stamp set that I haven't used in a while. The new is the ivory grosgrain ribbon and the borrowed is the button from hubby's old shirt. Sigh, I failed on this one, but still a good wedding card, right? =)

This beauty of an image is called You May Kiss The Bride and it's printed on PTI's Rustic White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size.

Another simple design here and no patterned paper was needed. =) The sentiment is from Fancy Phrases set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. Sigh... I just knew that something would go wrong since I was making, like, 200 cards (ok, I may have exaggerated a little there, but it was close...) this past week or so and I usually don't right things down. HA! I may have trusted my memory too much. =)

That's all I have for today (at least they are the ones that I remembered...). Don't forget to check out what the other design team members came up with for the challenge using the new release here. And you can find this week's release here. Hope you can join us for the challenge this time! =)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

Well I certainly agree, you've been coloring and creating your little fingers to the bone with all of these previews and new releases lately. Mermaids, and Marriage, and Mice, oh my! Now if you hadn't said anything, I would've thought that the button was a deep blue and didn't photo well - let's go with that story! This is a beautiful, dramatic image and I love your simplicity.
