Snowy, Frost & Winterberry

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for The Craft's Meow Farewell Blog Hop. Thanks! =)

Happy December, my friends! Can you believe that there is only 30 days left in 2013? Time does fly! I am here to share a fun project with you using stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

It's been a while since I have made a embroidery hoop project, so I thought it was time to make another one. This guy is now hanging on our front door. =)

This time I paired up Snowy, Frost and Winterberry. When I was planning this, I wanted to do some masking so that all the images are on one piece of paper. But if you know me, you know I love dimensions, so that didn't happen. In the end, only Winterberry was masked before I stamped Snowy Fence over his right "hand." Both Snowy and Frost are separate pieces and popped up with foam tapes. All images are colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers of course.

The snowflake patterned paper is from 'Tis the Season 6x6 Paper Pad by Echo Park. The snow hills are hand cut from cardstock, I then added a layer of Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a nice and subtle sparkle. The snowflakes, speech bubbles and sentiment dies are from Paper Smooches.

That's all I have for now. Don't forget to check out the Sale at Purple Onion Designs! For more inspiration using stamps from Purple Onion Designs, please visit Purple Onion Designs Blog! =)

Have a cheerful day and thanks for stopping by!

What a great project...how did you adhere the panel to the hoop...did you have a paper or fabric inside first? jeandonny2000 at hotmail dot com
