Papertrey Ink January 2014 Blog Hop Challenge

Hi ya, all! I am joining in on Papertrey Ink's January Blog Hop Challenge today.

The challenge for January is to use shades of pink with neutrals and here is my card.

I had to ink up the beautiful feathers from Feather Finery set. They are inked with Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon (okay, guilty, this is not pink, but close enough?) Distress Inks. I spritzed them with water before inking the first impressions on scratch paper. I then spritzed more water without re-inking and stamped the second generation impressions on the card base.

The sentiment is included in the Feather Finery set and a few matching sequins helped finishing this one layer card. Hope you likey! =)

That's all for now. You can find all the participants of the blog hop here! Have fun hopping!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!

What a great card Alice! I love how you inked the feathers and they flow one right into the other as if they were floating. The sequins are a sweet touch. I love that is a one layer card too.

Definitely pretty in pink! These feathers are beautiful and the drops compliment the simple design very well. This would be perfect for our January Challenge at STAMPlorations, here's a link if you'd like to join:
