Doodlie-do

Hello, all! I decided to play along with Papertrey Ink's Color & Sketch Recipe Challenge.

I picked the 5th color combo (Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse, Harvest Gold, Canyon Clay and Autumn Rose) and based my card design on the 6th sketch.

I stamped the sentiment first, masked it then stamped the flowers from Doodlie-do set. The flowers are then colored with Copic markers to match the colors from the color recipe. The flower centers and all the dots on the images are decorated with Viva Ice White Pearl Pen for a little texture and interest.

Using a PITT Artist Pen and mimicking the frame around the sentiment, I created a frame around the image to give the design more definition.

That's all for now. You can see the details of this challenge here and more of PIT's anniversary celebration and challenges here! =)

Have a sun shining day and thanks for stopping by!
