CAS(E) This Sketch #129

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for My Favorite Things Color Challenge #24. Thanks! =)

Hi ya, all! =) There is also a new sketch up over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on it.

I couldn't resist playing with MFT's Flutter of Butterflies-Lace dies. =)

The butterfly is cut using watercolor paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. It's layered with another cut out with vellum to add a little dimension and interest.

I smooshed for the background using Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry distress inks. The sentiment is from MFT's Whimsical Wishes set.

That's all I have for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members came up with for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
