CAS(E) This Sketch #189

Hello, my friends! =) New sketch is up over at CAS(E) This Sketch. First is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on it.

Ah... I have to admit that loose watercoloring is relaxing and liberating! It's also a great way to cover up my bad watercoloring skill. =)

I inked the beautiful flower and leaves from the Essentials by Ellen's Mondo Peony set with Jet Black Archival ink on watercolor paper and colored the images with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor. The images are then cut using the matching dies.

The sentiment is cut using the super versatile Brushstroke Hello die. I also added a few watercolor splatters for the background.

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous take on the sketch, Alice! I'm inspired to try loose watercoloring, too! Hope you're recovering from jet lag..... ♥

This is gorgeous, Alice -- wonderful take on the sketch! I love it when you and I own the same stamps (I just bought these peonies) because then I can be inspired by you all the more! :)

Hi Alice,

You're card is so soft and pretty. I really like your delicate floral and then the Die Cut "hello".
