holiday tags
The challenge at the Hero Arts Blog last week was all about "Holiday Tags." Here are two tags that I made for the challenge.
I used the adorable HA Snowman Stamp digital image for this tag. The background was created using the embossing resist technique with Worn Lipstick distress ink and the A Lot Like Christmas background stamp.
This second tag is really easy to make. I sponged the tag with some Broken China while the paper was still in the die to create the white border. I then stamped the branch with Rich Cocoa Memento ink, then added a green shake with a Copic marker.
I stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark Dazzle then put some light pink/purple chalk on them. I also covered the ornaments and the border of the tag with some Diamond Stickles.
By the way, it's a week long release sneak peeks over at the Hero Arts Blog!!! I am so excited about their 2010 Catalog!! Please go over and check out the sneak peeks and the fun inspiration challenge this week!!
This last tag was made using the beautiful Holly Folly digital kit created by Betsy Tuma.
I love the intricate pattern on the paper! At first I thought that it was just a solid gold/yellow paper, but after I opened it in my Photoshop I was instantly in love with its beautiful pattern!!
I am also linking this to Caardvarks for their "Hero Arts Digital Showcase" challenge. All you need to do is link a project that incorporates any digital element to Mr. Linky! Check this post for more details!!
