Happy New Year's Eve, my friends! Do you have any plan? We are staying home and getting ready to hug (and kiss if we don't get scratched up too badly...) our cats when 2011 comes!

Here are two more cards that I made waaaaaaay back in September and I decided that I have to post them this year. =)

I used Amy Young's beautiful Jessamin from her Twisted Sisters collection for my first card. I love all of Amy's amazing images. You can find her stamp line -Sweet November Stamps here.

I paired her with BasicGrey's Olivia collection (on sale!) and the sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I used the super sweet Fiona from the Fairy Tale collection by C.C. Designs for the second card. She is a cutie and such fun to color!

The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket's lovely Togetherness collection and the sentiment is from this set by Hero Arts.

Tania Baking

Hello all! Hope you are having a wonderful week. =)

I have this image colored a little while ago and just wanted to make it into a card.

The beautiful stamp is from Belles 'n Whistles called Tania Baking. I think she is a beauty and I always wonder what she is making. LOL! When I started stitching on it, I made the mistake of leaving the sewing machine on zig zag which I used on the background right under the seam binding. I was all #*&@ing after the first 3 or 4 stitches, I then decided to just make it look "intentional." =)

I paired Tania with the yummy Curio collection from BasicGrey. I adore the pretty paper in this collection and they also have a few very pretty silhouette designs in their accessaries. Check them out here! I spritzed the paper doily and the sentient oval with tea dye reinker + water + Perfect Pearl. The seam binding is dyed with barn door and the sentient is from the Strawberries set by Flourishes.

A Surprise Cheer

Hi all! Here is a card that I made for the Free For All Monday over at the PWCO blog.

I used the lovely A Surprise Cheer illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller for this card. I love the blob of cake and candle on his head. Too cute!

After coloring and cutting the image with a die, I inked the piece with antique linen when the piece was still in the die. The sentiment piece is made the same way. I also added Glossy Accents on the balloons.

The patterned paper is from the Fine And Dandy True Blue collection by My Mind's Eye. I love this cute collection! The sentiment is from the Half Pint Heroes set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Musical Walk

Hi all! Here is a card that I made for the challenge over at the Hero Arts blog. The challenge this month is giving thanks, color challenge or adding shine. I chose to go with giving thanks and tried adding some subtle shine to my card.

I used the new and beautiful Musical Walk for my card. There are a few pretty and charming silhouette stamps in Hero Arts' new release and I want them all! =) You can see the new releases here.

I inked the stamp with frayed burlap and spritzed it with Perfect Pearl + water before I stamped it on the watercolor paper. The sentiment from this set is stamped the same way. The Music Background is inked with spun sugar then stamped with a spritz of water on watercolor paper. I then inked the piece with more spun sugar and with barn door on the edges. The paper doily is spritzed with tea dye reinker + water + Perfect Pearl.

Pirate Luka

Happy Monday, all! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! We had a party at friends' house with lots of yummy food. =)

I am sharing my last project as a guest designer for La-La Land Crafts. I can't believe it's been three months already! Big thanks to Irina for inviting me. I had such fun creating with La-La Land Crafts' adorable stamps!

I used the super cute Pirate Luka for my card. I have to say that I think he is the most handsome pirate I have ever seen! =) I used the digital form of this image. You can find all the La La Land Crafts stamps in their digital form here. A very lovely new image called "Darling Marci" just joint the La La Land Crafts family, you can see the special offer here.

The patterned paper that I used is from an old scrapbook kit from Cocoa Daisy. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I added a few stitches with embroidery floss for some interest and texture.

A Little Haul of Cheer

Happy Wednesday, all! Yes, it's another holiday card, but I am proud to say that this card has been sent to a dear friend in Taiwan. =)

I used the lovely A Little Haul of Cheer illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller for this card. Such a cute image! This card was posted at the PWCO blog earlier this week, you can see it here.

I feel bad that I gave her bare legs, it looks so cold. =) And did you notice that I didn't use any patterned paper on this card? I know! It's so hard to not use any, but I decided to give my background stamps some loving. After coloring and cutting the image, I masked it with the help of this wonderful stamping mask paper.

The piece is then inked with tumbled glass then I stamped the Stunning Snowflakes from Hero Arts over the masked image using the same ink. The card base is stamped with Magical Background and the kraft scalloped border is stamped with Starring Sky. The seam binding is dyed with barn door and the sentiment came with the stamp.

Uru and Candycane

Is it really bad that it's this close to Christmas and I am still making/posting holiday cards? I know! I am in big trouble... =)

I made this card for Challenge #94 over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog. There is a lovely sketch to follow for this challenge.

I used the adorable Uru and Candycane for my card. I just adore this gnome! =) After coloring and cutting the image out, I masked Uru then inked the piece with antique linen and tea dye when the piece was still in the die. Hero Arts' Music Background is then stamped over the image using antique linen.

The patterned paper is from Memory Box's Tinsel collection and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Angel Anya

Hello everyone! We are going to celebrate a dear friend's birthday today, so I think it's appropriate to post the card that I made for her a little while ago.

I used the beautiful Angel Anya for this card. Our friend has the same name as this Anya and she is as sweet and gentle as an angel, so I think this image is just perfect for her.

I actually made this card a few weeks back for a sketch challenge over at Club Anya & Friends. I inked the circle with tumbled glass then stamped the Music Background from Hero Arts with the same ink while the paper was still in the die. Angel Anya is then cut out and pop dotted on the piece. I also added star dust Stickles on her wings.

The patterned paper is from Boutique Cute Dolls' digital kit Scrapbook Addict. BCD has since moved from Digiscrappers Brasil to Scrapbook Graphics and I can't find this kit anywhere as of now. Sorry! I love the pretty pastel-ly colors in this kit though.

Happy Sunday, my friends! Here is a card that I made for La La Land Crafts.

Sorry that my photo lighting has been inconsistent lately due to the gloomy days we are having. It also makes it difficult for editing afterwards. Since I don't have a photo tent, I rely heavily on natural light. Here is how I photograph my cards:

Yep. Three pieces of luxurious white cardstock. If you have to know, two of them are from Bazzill Basics and the other one is from The Paper Company. The vertical ones are propped up on tissue boxes with the daylight coming from the window on the right hand side. There you have it, my make-do photo shoot setting. =)

Jane's Bakery RE-release Party!

Here is the card that I made using the cute stamps from the stamp set. Isn't that three-tiered cake so versatile? It would be perfect for birthdays, wedding and any type of celebration. I love it!

I used  Glossy Accents as adhesive and added some yummy crystal coarse glitter to the icing on the cake. The cute banner is included in the stamp set. I also stamped the polka dot stamp on the pink patterned paper using VersaMark, but it's not showing up very well...

The patterned paper that I used is from Boutique Cute Dolls' digital kit Drizzle. These pretty soft colors are perfect for a birthday card for a girl. Talking about birthday, today is also Jane's birthday. Don't forget to stop by her blog and leave her some birthday love! I took the advantage of the design on this sheet (I used the one in the 6x6 pad) of Sassafras' Mix and Mend collection to help me getting the look from the sketch. I also went with the stitching on the paper design and added real hand stitching for some texture.

The sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases set and the flower is from Prima.

A Magical Christmas

Happy Friday, all! Taylor has announced a TESC break here, just in case you are wondering what happened to the regular TESC posts. =) Is it wrong that I am trying to come up with a card design for a image that's colored, cut out all ready to go, but at the same time I am thinking about which image to use on another sketch card? Or how many grammatical mistakes I made in the above run-on sentence? Ok, don't answer that last question, I know it's bad! LOL! I know I have issues... That aside, here is another holiday card. =)

I used the lovely A Magical Christmas for this card. Have I mentioned that I love RAM's images? This one is so sweet!

After cutting her out with a die, I inked the piece with tumbled glass distress ink when the paper was still in the die. I then covered her snow globe with Glossy Accents and added some star dust Stickles to the snowflakes.

I paired her with Cosmo Cricket's Mitten Weather collection. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the seam binding is dyed with the yummy milled lavender distress ink.
