Back 2 School

Happy Sunday, my friends! Here is a card that I made using an image from Whiff of Joy Stamps' up coming stamp kit Back 2 School to share with you. This stamp set is set to be released on June 1st as individual stamps. Here is the card.

Don't you love this adorable girl? She looks a little shy about giving away that apple, reminds me of me at that age! =)

The image is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock then cut and embossed using a Standard Circles Large die.  I then colored her skin and hair with Copic markers. Her outfit was then paper pieced with patterned paper. I went over the patterned paper with matching Copic markers to add some depth and texture.

The sentiment piece is cut using the Versatile Shape I die from WOJ and the sentiment comes with this stamp kit. The patterned paper is from the Stella and Rose Mabel collection by My Mind's Eye. I used the Open Scallop Border die on the orange piece for a little interest.
