Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #47

Hi all! Thanks for joining me for a card for this week's Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge. Here is this week's challenge:

Here is my card:

It's been a while since I've made an easel card, so this was fun to make. I also did a little experiment and have my card opened at the image instead of at the length of the card. Am I making sense here? LOL! I think it turned out okay.

I used Cupcake Ruby for my card. She is colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers. The image is then cut and embossed using a Labels Eight die. Is that the right color for blueberry icing?

Here is a look of the card lay flat. Hope you can see what I meant by "opening at the image." =) The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Classic Ovals Large die. It's then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Classic Scalloped Ovals Large die.

The patterned paper is from the Sweet Threads collection by BasicGrey and the sentiment is from the Cupcakes set by Hero Arts.

That's all I have. Please go and check out what the other design team members came up with for this challenge and find out all the details for the challenge here. Hope you can join us this week! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Err how do I say this Alice? I can't get over your colouring. Somehow I don't know if it's the way you photograph your pictures or what but the colours always seem vibrant and soft at the same time. How do you do it??? Please teach us!!

Gorgeous coloring and love that you put the sentiment to the side to hold open the easel. Great idea to use the image as the propee! :)
