Sunflower Bouquet

Hello, all! Here is my (failed) attempt of achieving Sanketi's stunning watercolor effect with a stamped image from Day 5 of the Watercolor for Card Makers Online Card Classes.

That's the day that I realized that I don't have much talent in watercoloring. Really, you should go and check out Sanketi's mesmerizing works of art! I'll retreat to my corner and try to do better next time...

The beautiful image is from Papertrey Ink's Sunflower Bouquet set. I stamped it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the smooth side of the watercolor paper then proceeded to color it with watercolor.

To keep the image at the center of the attention, I kept the design really simple. The sentiment is from Keep It Simple: Thank You set also by Papertrey Ink.

That's all for now. Have a beautiful day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
