Charlie, Joey & Robin

Hello, my friends! =) Here is a card made using the super cute A Beautiful Day collection from Purple Onion Designs.

There was a bit of work getting this scene constructed and lots of coloring involved, but it was well worth the time! =)

The order of stamping and masking is: Goodies trey --> Joey --> Charlie --> blanket --> Robin --> Bunting. They are all stamped on PTI's Rustic White cardstock panel then colored with Copic markers. It was super fulfilling coloring this one. Doesn't it look like a storybook page? All the credits to the fabulous images illustrated by Stacey Yacula! =)

The trick of creating the scene is that I created a mask for each of the characters. The mask pieces really came in handy with the positioning of each element since the stamps are red rubber and you can't see through them. The sentiment is from A Beautiful Day Sentiment Set. Some Glossy Accents was added to the bunting flags and icing on the cupcakes for a little texture.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using stamps from Purple Onion Designs, please visit Purple Onion Deigns Blog! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

What a sweet card! Your copic coloring is simply amazing. You really need to do a video tutorial on your techniques!
