gone fishin'

Happy Friday, all! I was invited as a guest designer for Penny Black Blog. Here is one more of the cards that I made for them with more details.

I used the adorable gone fishin' for this card. I just couldn't resist these cute little guys!

I stamped the image on a piece of watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and colored them using various distress inks. I just press the ink pads on an acrylic block then picked up the colors with a aqua brush. The piece is then cut out using a Long Classic Rectangles die then matted it with a piece of patterned paper before I machine stitched the layers together.

The sentiment is great day also from Penny Black. I again stamped it on watercolor paper then cut it out using a Labels One die then matted it with a piece of patterned paper hand cut to match the main image. The yellow polka dot patterned paper is from the Squash Mix by Memory Box.

That's all for today. Have a beautiful day! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
