Card Creations 12 Blog Hop!

Hi and welcome to Card Creations 12 Blog Hop! Plugged in with Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking has been celebrating the publication of the new Card Creations Vol. 12 this week. I was lucky enough to be invited to help celebrating it in this designer blog hop. If you arrived from Vera's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Chan Vuong's Blog. I can't wait to see what these talented ladies created for the hop! Here is my card.

We were asked to create a card from one of three sketches chosen from the issue and here is the sketch that I chose to work with.

I think I followed it pretty closely! =)

The hearts are cut using Papertrey Ink's Cover Plate: Hearts die. The patterned paper is from Be Loved 6x6 Paper Pad by Fancy Pants and the sentiment is from Fair Feathers set by Mama Elephant.

That's all from me. It's time to send you to Deena's Blog. Don't forget to leave comments along the way, each of the designers is giving away a copy of Card Creation Vol. 12! In this case, you can just add your name and email address in the linky thingy below. =) If you are an international winner, you will receive a digital copy of the issue. You have until Tuesday, March 11th at 23:55 PST to enter for a chance to win!

Have fun hopping and good luck!

I wanted to leave a comment anyway and tell you how much I like your card. I'm not usually one to use a lot of hearts on my cards, but you may have convinced me to step outside my comfort zone and do it. Love the string/thread for added dimension and interest.
