LaLa Birthday Party Blog Hop!
Welcome to our LaLa Birthday Party Blog Hop! It's our DT sister, Lisa's Birthday this week and we're celebrating her with virtual birthday party in the form of a blog hop!
Let's play a game called "Lisa's Favorite Things." Some of the DT brought "gifts" to the party (some of Lisa's favorite things!)... all you have to do is hop to our blogs, leave a comment and collect the "gifts" along the way (write them down). At the end of the hop (you'll have until Sunday night), you'll want to email Irina 5 "gifts" you found on the hop. At the end of the hop, we will have a GIFT for one of you!
Here is my card for Lisa:
I used the lovely Rosie with Presents from Lili of the Valley. She is super cute! I realized that I forgot to color the ground when I was photographing this card... I already added it to the image. =)
I paired her with My Mind's Eye's lovely Fine And Danday Tickled Pink 6x6 pad. I adore the sweet colors and fun designs in this collection!
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Butterfly Dreams set.
That's all from me. Hope you had a most wonderful birthday and a fabulous weekend, Lisa! Please hop along to Kim Dellow's blog next. Just incase you got lost, you can find the master hopping list at LLLC Blog And don't forget to stop by Lisa's blog too and leave her some birthday greetings! =)
On a side note. Do you have anything planed for the weekend? We will be at Bay Area Glass Institute (BAGI) for this free event on Saturday.
We were lucky enough to have Boyd Sugiki and Lisa Zerkowitz came to our class for a demo when we were taking glass blowing classes at SJSU and we were floored by their amazing glass blowing skills. They are what we call "scary good," especially Boyd. Check out their websites and see what they have in their portfolios, you'll know what I mean. Remember that glass blowing is an art form that you can't really "touch (not at about 1000 degree F)" when working with it and what Boyd could do is simply amazing. They also have a website for their studio here.
So if you live in the Bay Area and have nothing planned for Saturday, I highly recommend you to come to this event. And it's free, and there is nothing better than seeing live magic free! I'll remember to take along my camera and hopefully I'll get some good photos to share with you! =)
Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!
