Long Stem Flowers & Elegant Weeds

Happy Sunday, all! Here are a couple more cards that I made for the Fanatical About Botanical Challenge over at the Moxie Fab World.

I used the beautiful Long Stem Flowers for my first card. I actually colored this image a long time ago and it was just sitting in my "colored images" stack (yeah, it's about 1 1/4" tall now...) waiting to be used on a card.

The beautiful poppies are colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White card stock and colored with Copic markers.

Since this is such a pretty image, I decided that a clean design will best showcasing it. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Up Up & Away set.

I am not so sure if I like this second card, but I decided to share it here anyway. =) I played with Ranger's Adirondack Color Wash and created the misted background with Sunset Orange and Purple Twilight on watercolor paper.

The image from Elegant Weeds is then stamped with vintage photo distress ink with a spritz of water. The sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Botanical Silhouettes set is stamped with the same ink.

That's all for today. Have a happy Sunday, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
