A Boy and His Star

Happy weekend, all! =) Here is a card that I made using one of the super duper cute release this month from Whiff of Joy Stamps.

Yes! More gnomes from Norma Fickel! I adore her gnome images and this one is called A Boy and His Star. I think this image will be perfect for a birthday card, too. Don't you think?

The little gnome is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size. I inked the piece with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks then stamped PTI's Fancy Flourishes around him to create a frame with Antique Linen distress ink. Some Antique Linen Distress Stickles is then added to the edges of the piece for a subtle shine. The sentiment piece is made the same way, only that it is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Small die.

I also finished inside of the card. The image is stamped with ColorBox's Boysenberry pigment ink and the frame is created the same way as for the front. The sentiment is from Compliments of the Season set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

The patterned paper is from Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is from Very Vintage Christmas set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

That's all I have for now. Hope you have a fantastic weekend! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
