Aphrodite
Hi, all! =) Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your sweet comments, they warm my heart and tear me up. Really, I am so lucky to have so many "friends" even though I have never met most of you. You made card making and blogging so much more meaningful. =) We arrived safely Wednesday evening. My next few posts will be pre-scheduled since I'll be working on LOTS of February releases (sometimes distraction is good...), so I apologize ahead of time if I don't get to visit your blogs right away, please be patient with me. =)
Here is the card that I made for Kraftin' Kimmie January Krafty Hop. I missed the hop, but still want to share my card with you.
I used the charming Aphrodite for my card. She is also perfect for Valentines, don't you think? =)
Aphrodite is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Labels Nine die. I also used the out of frame die cutting technique to cut the image.
The patterned paper is from Free Bird Nest Blush & Delight 6x6 Paper Pad. I stamped Hero Arts/BasicGrey Large Flower Pattern on the card base with VersaMark for a little interest. I also made the little rolled roses for the first time using the Mini Rolled Roses die from My Favorite Things. I really am not very good at this... =) The sentiment is from the new Goddess Sentiments set.
Thanks for stopping by!
