Krafty Girls Challenge #114
Happy weekend, my friends! =) It's time for another Krafty Girl Challenge. This week's hostess is Kimmie and since it was her birthday yesterday (Hope you had a wonderful day celebrating, Kimmie!), the challenge is to make any kind of birthday cards. Easy peasy, huh? =)
I used the adorable Lola Da Vinci for my card. Sorry that this is a retired image and that's why you can't find it at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps store, but there are a couple of online stores that still carry it if you Google. Isn't she delightful? I love coloring her! =)
Lola is colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers then cut out. She is then attached to the background with foam tape.
The background is created by dabbing various Distress Stains from Ranger on to my hand then flicking the inks on watercolor paper. I dabbed the inks dry after a few seconds so that the colors are not too strong. The sentiment is from Penny Black.
That's all from me. Please go and check out what the other Krafty Girls came up with for the challenge here. Don't forget the awesome sale that Kimmie is running in celebration of her birthday! Kimmie's favorite stamps are on sale for 41% off or for $4.10! Go and check out the Birthday Sale here. Hope you can make a birthday card and join us this week. =)
Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
