Large Flower Pattern

Hi ya, my friends! Big, big thanks to all that left me love on Facebook, in the Moxie Fab World and on my blog. I am truly humbled by all your sweet comments! No words of gratitude can express how I felt when I was reading your comments. You know how to make a crafty girl happy! =) Here is a card that I made for the Back in Black challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays and as one of my "homework" for the Stretch Your Stamps online card class.

The challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays is to use black card base and my card is mounted on a True Black card base.

One of the classes in the Stretch Your Stamps online class was focused on using reverse/negative stamps. Kristina made an amazing card stamped with Jet Black archival ink on white cardstock using this stamp then colored it with colored pencils, so I decided to give it a try.

I used Large Flower Pattern from Hero Arts for my card and colored in the flowers with Prismacolor Colored pencils. The sentiment is from the super cute Life is Fun set by Hero Arts/BasicGrey.

That's it for now. Have a beautiful day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Your coloring is gorgeous! I seriously thought it was patterned paper until I actually clicked on the stamp at SSS! Absolutely stunning! I can see it with lots of color combinations too! Thanks for such a gorgeous card and wonderful idea! (I took the class too, but I am sure I would have balked at this stamp!) I can feel my stamping muscles stretch just thinking about it!
