Hi and welcome to 350 Cards & Gifts Blog Hop! if you arrived from Nina Yang's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Paper Crafts Connection. I am honored to be invited to take part in this fun blog hop with a group of amazingly talented ladies! =) Here is what I created for the hop.
We were to create paper-crafted birthday items and I thought it was the chance to use the Get A Handle On It Die that I got a little while ago. I quite like the idea of having a handle on pillow boxes. =)
I made a His & Hers pillow box gift set. The base of the pillow box is stamped using the polka border from Mama Elephant's Basic Borders set. The hearts are cut using Papertrey Ink's Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Hearts Die.
The smaller heart is stamped with a coordinating stamp from With All My Heart set. Since it's not a birthday themed stamp, I covered the main image with a rose created using stamps and die from The Sweet Life set. The sentiment is from Hands of Time set.
For the His version. The pillow box is stamped using the nuts border stamp from PTI's Handy Hardware set.
The focal point was cut using a piece of thin birch plywood then stamped with Hero Arts Tweed Pattern Designblock. The saw and sentiment are also from Handy Hardware set.
That's all from me. It's time to send you to Emily Branch's Blog. Here is a full list of the participant of the blog hop:
