Into the Woods

Happy Sunday, all! =) I thought I'd share the project that was featured in Paper Crafter's Library the other day.

I am liking the embroidery format. It's a bit of a change from the usual flat rectangular shape that I am used to and it's really fun! =) If you are curious as to what is behind the patterned paper, I used a piece of kraft cardstock as the base. Just cut a circle slightly larger than the inner hoop and cut slits around it so it is easier to insert into the hoop.

Mr. Fox, Miss Dear and Mr. Acorn are from Lawn Fawn's Into The Woods set and the log is from Critters in the Forest set. They are colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out.

The patterned paper is from Into The Woods 6x6 Petite Paper Pack also by Lawn Fawn and the speech bubble sentiments are included in the Into The Woods stamp set. Even though Into The Woods is a fall collection, I think they are pretty cute for Spring, too. Don't you think? Although I am not sure if regular acorns would last in the Spring, Mr. Acorn definitely lives happily in my springy little wonderland! =)

That's all for now. Have a beautiful day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Great Copic coloring. What combos did you use for the animals? Thank you!
