Whiff of Joy Christmas Blog Hop!

Ahhh.... What's better than a cup of hot chocolate in a cold winter night? I just adore this stamp! =) There will be a mini version of this stamp being release December 1st, too!

This image is called Henry Mouse with Large Teacup and it's stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock. It's then colored with Copic markers and cut and embossed using a Labels One die. This will be the stamp that I am giving away, so don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win! =)

I stamped one of the scrips from Essential Backgrounds - Text Style on the card base with VersaMark ink before I attached one of the patterned papers. The sentiment from Very Vintage Christmas set is also stamped before I embossed the card front with a snowflake embossing folder. The card is then spritzed with Mister Huey's Calico White mist for a subtle "snowy" look. The patterned paper is from Season's Greetings collection by Echo Park.

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #69

Hello! It's time for a card for another Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge. Here is this the new challenge:

Yes, more holiday cards! I'll probably still be making them the day before Christmas... =)

I used the super duper cute and delightful Sledding Chloe for my card. The image is stamped on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Standard Circles Large die. It's then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using Big Scalloped Circles Large die. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die and matted with the same patterned paper cut using a Petite Scalloped Ovals Large die.

Some Golden Rod Stickles is added to the stars and Sugar Sparkly Fluff is added to the fur on the tips of Chloe's hat and scarf. The patterned paper is from Holly Jolly Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad by Echo Park. The sentiment is from Compliments of the Season by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Hanging Out

Happy Monday, all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here is a card that I made for the monthly challenge over at Inspiration Journal.

The challenge this month is Calling All Tool Lovers! Hope you will share a project made using your favorite tools with us. I know it's towards the end of the challenge, but you have until the end of November to enter for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use at Inspiration Emporium Store! =)

I used this adorable bug from Inky Antics' Hanging Out Buggies clear set for my card. I first cut a piece of PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Mini Baroque die then stamped the image and colored it with Copic Markers. You all know that I love my Spellbinders dies, Tim Holtz Alterations dies and Copic markers. I rarely make a card without these versatile tools!

I stamped Hero Arts Magical Background with Ranger's Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber in Red Pepper. The patterned paper is from Out of the Blue 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye. The bottom corners are punched using yet another must have tool - Corner Chomper. The sentiment is included in the Hanging Out Buggies stamp set.

Happy weekend, all! We spent Thanksgiving with close friends and had a wonderful time. I also got some shopping done on Black Friday, how about you? =)

Today's card is dedicated to a sweet and wonderful blog friend - Virginia! If you know her, you know that she is always so encouraging and delightful. She love sharing her amazing talent at making cards and cooking with us and I always enjoy reading her posts.

I picked Merry for my card because she reminds me of Virginia. Mmmmm.... I'll have to try your cooking and baking in person one day, girl! =) Merry is stamped on PIT's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossing with a Curved Rectangles die using the out of the frame technique.

The patterned paper is from Restoration collection by Crate Paper and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  Virginia is celebrating her up coming birthday and is having a fun contest, check out the details here. Christmas Pastries

Hello, my friends! Thanks so much for your patience and for your well wishes. My father is doing okay. I hate to burden you with details, in short, he is functioning as normal and is in as good a state as we could hoped for as of now. I have decided that I should go back and visit as often as I can and there will be more two-week absence on commenting from me in the coming year. I apologize ahead of time for that and thank you for your understanding. =)

On to today's card. One more card made using a beautiful image from Whiff of Joy Stamps' November release.

I first trimmed a piece of Papertrey Ink's Rustic Cream cardstock to size then stamped the new Christmas Pastries image and sentiment from Sweet Christmas set using Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (must have tool for stampers!). The image is colored with Copic markers.

I stamped the text from Essential Backgrounds - Text Style set with Antique Linen distress ink then inked the piece with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks. The very edges of the paper is inked with Gathered Twigs distress ink from Tim's Limited Edition Fall 2011 ink set. Some Antique Linen Distress Stickles is then applied to the edges of the piece.

The edges of the inside of the card is finished the same way except that I stamps the bell image from Christmas Accessories set for a little interest.

The Wine Shop

Hi all! Still a pre-scheduled post. =) I am sharing a card made using one of the new stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

Mmm.... very versatile image and isn't that sentiment the best? All stamps are from The Wine Shop set. All images are stamped on PTI's Rustic Cream cardstock.

I used the masking technique to add one more bundle of grape at the foot of the wine barrel. The image is colored with Copic markers.

North Pole Employee #3355

Hello, all! Here is a card that I made using a super cute elf from Mo's Digital Pencil.

His name is North Pole Employee #3355 and he comes with his partner, North Pole Employee #5533 in North Pole Employee #5533 and #3355 set. He just makes me smile. =)

This little elf is printed on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, cut and embossed using a Labels Two die then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Small die. I also added Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the fur trims of his outfit.

The patterned paper is from Peppermint collection by Crate Paper. The sentiment is from Very Vintage Christmas set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Christmas Treasure

Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. =) Here is a card that I made using a lovely image from Whiff of Joy Stamps' Winter Kit. The kit is now available as separate stamps.

This image is called Christmas Treasure. Sweet, sweet image! =)

The boy is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Long Classic Rectangles Large die. The sentiment piece is cut using Versatile Shape I die. Both pieces are inked with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks.

I matted the image piece with a piece of patterned paper cut using the On The Edge Scallops die before I stitched the layers together. The patterned paper is from Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is from Christmas Pastries set.

Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! If you came from Heidy's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Lori's blog. You would not want to miss what the Dream Team members came up with for this hop!

Our hostess this month is Lori and she challenged the team to "Make a Gift." We were to create gift wrap, tags, packaging, etc. using Mo's images. Mine is a card that is also a gift card holder.

I used the super sweet Irma and Vieno for my card. The image is printed on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, cut and embossed using a Labels Two die then colored with Copic markers. I added some Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the fur trims on their outfits.

Here is the tag that holds the gift card behind the image. I just wrapped a paper doily around the tag and stamped the leaf from Beyond Basic Borders set and sentiment from Very Vintage Christmas set for simple decoration.

Two corners of the tag have slits to slide the gift card in. I created a "pocket" using dimensional adhesive behind the image so that the tag can be slide in and out.

The patterned paper is from Sidewalks 8x8 Paper Pad by October Afternoon and the sentiment on the front is from Friends set by Hero Arts.
