Early Morning Rain & Sweet Serenity

Happy Monday, all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. =) I have a couple of hybrid cards to share with you today.

I used Jo Hanna's beautiful Early Morning Rain for my first card. I love the pretty and distress-y patterned paper in this kit.

I stamped a few elements that come with the kit on the distressed pale foreground piece before I printed it out. I colored an extra daisy image and pop doted it over the piece for dimension. The sentiment is from this set by Hero Arts.

For my second card, I used Michelle Underwood's mod kit "Sweet Serenity." The  designs on the patterned paper are just fabulous!

I used a few elements that came with the kit for the cluster of embellishments. The sentiment stamp is from the Victorian Fripperie set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. A very sweet friend shared the Prima flower with me a while ago, you can find similar ones here.

Just realized that these two sets are complete different styles. LOL. Love that! Hope you do, too! =)

Have a fabulous week, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Alice I love the cards! You´re fantastic.
That horses in my blog, are from my

These are so pretty! I love the blue rose. Gorgeous. I need to try to make some more of those with the grunge paper I have sitting on my desk doing nothing. They look so appealing on cards. Love the daisy one too!
