Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #17

Happy Saturday, my friends! Thanks for joining me for a card for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. Here is this week's sketch:
Here is my take on the sketch:

Yep, still playing with the adorable Half Pint Heroes set.

I tried heat embossing this time. I first embossed the background using the rocket, stars and moon stamps that came with the set, then inked the whole piece using tumbled glassstormy sky and chipped sapphire distress inks.

I then pop dotted the colored rocket, moon and stars over the embossed ones. My initial plan was to use only the embossed and inked piece, but decided that it was too boring. So this is really version 2.0. =)

You can use any stamps you want for the challenge, but we would love it if you can use Waltzingmouse Stamps! Please go to the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog to see what the other Mischief Makers came up with and check out all the details for the challenge.

To celebrate World Card Making Day, the sweet and generous Claire at Waltzingmouse Stamps is offering a special free digital image. Anyone uses the image to make a card/project and links it by 11:59 PM EST on Saturday, October 9th, has a chance to win a stamp set of choice. So head on over to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog to see all the details and the free image!

Hope you can join us this week!

Have a fabulous weekend, my friends! =)
