I am sorry Gnome
Hello everyone! Whiff of Joy Stamps is the sponsor for the challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. Here is the card that I made for the challenge.
The challenge is to use ribbon and punches. I used the lovely I am sorry Gnome for my card. She is so sweet!
After coloring her on Copic X-Press It cardstock, I cut the image out using a Long Classic Rectangles Large die. It's then matted with a lightly bigger piece of patterned paper before I stitched the layers together. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Classic Ovals Small die then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Classic Scalloped Ovals Large die.
One of the brown patterned paper is punched with the Apron Lace (it's on sale!!) punch. The pretty crochet lace trim and the yellow gingham ribbons for the little tabs are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The patterned paper is from the Hopscotch collection by BasicGrey and the sentiment is from the Victorian Fripperie set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.
Today marks the Grand Opening of Lily Pad Cards and the blog hop continues. The hop starts at the Penny Black Blog at 9 a.m. EST and Lily Pad Cards will reveal the entire website, so don't forget to hop along! =)
Have fun hopping and Happy April Fool's Day!! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
