Lily Pad Cards Lucy's Lovely Lines Challenge
Happy weekend, my friends! This week's challenge over at Lily Pad Cards is a wonderful sketch created by the uber talented Lucy Abrams! Here is the sketch:
Here is my take on the sketch:
I love the simplicity of Lucy's sketch and took it for a little spin (as always). =) This week's sponsor is Penny Black.
The adorable image is from the paint the town transparent set. This stamp is too cute! I don't know why they have to do the painting outdoors, but it just turned out this way... The image is matted with a piece of "mix & match" paper from the grand canyon set from Penny Black before I pop dotted it on the kraft card base.
I actually messed up the ground a little. It's layers and layers of "corrections" now and it looks muddy. LOL! Oh well, it's just a early Spring day right after the snow melted. =) The image is colored with Copic markers and the clouds are cut using dies from Papertrey Ink. The edges of the clouds are inked lightly with tumbled glass. The sentiment is also from Penny Black.
That's all I have for today. Please go to this post to check out what the other Dream Team members came up with and find out how you can join the fun! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
