Papillon
I am so excited about this! Inspiration Emporium carries so many fun and yummy products that I use and I am just thrilled to join this amazing team. Thank you so much for inviting me, Joy and Jay! =)
The Inspiration Journal is hosting a monthly challenge starting this month and the challenge is to use Fragments in your projects. You can submit any projects that you made using Fragments for the chance to win $50 Emporium Dollars to Inspiration Emporium! Here is the card that I made using some Rectangle Fragments.
I used the beautiful Papillon stamp set designed by Tim Holtz for my card. I first stamped the butterflies on watercolor paper using Black StazOn Ink. After masking the butterflies, I stamped the script over it so that you can still see the butterflies.
I then colored the whole piece with Twinkling H2O randomly. Just paying more attention when coloring the butterflies to make sure that they stand out from the background. You can see the original colored piece in the photo above.
After applying Glossy Accents on the Fragments then pressed them on the areas that I wanted to use, I wiggled the Fragments a little to squeeze out any possible air bubbles.
I then trimmed around the Fragments with a pair of scissors. The script on the card base is stamped with vintage photo distress ink before I attached the Fragments to the card with mini Glue Dots.
That's all for today. Hope you can join us this month at Inspiration Journal! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
