in search of spring

I am sharing a card that I made using one of the new releases at Whiff of Joy Stamps.

The patterned papers are from Memory Box's Sprout collection. I also used the sketch from Challenge #96 at Friday Sketchers for my card.
That's all for now. Hope you have a beautiful day!

Okay... to take pictures of layouts, leverage natural light, but not in direct sunlight to avoid shadows. (If I can do it in 6 months of winter every year, anyone can) I put my layout on a canvas that is a rectangle and fills my camera's view. I stand over the layout and look through the viewfinder, and make sure my layout's edges are parallel to the viewfinder's edges. I burst shoot at least 10-20 images. None of them will come out EXACTLY square, but that isn't a problem. I adjust the lighting etc with Picasa 3 (click I'm feeling luck), crop it to a square, I'm done!!! I don't fancy schmancy Photoshop anything, don't have the skill, don't have the interest :) My layout photos are decent, and that's good enough for me :)
So cute Alice.............
