Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #108

Happy Friday, my friends! It's time for another card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge! Here is this week's sketch:

Here is my card:

I used digital papers and an element from Betsy Tuma's new digital kit "Jardin de Fleur" to make my card. Those pretty papers reminded me of fabrics and Nina's quilted cards inspired me, too. I printed pieces of patterned papers out then tiled them before I sew them together. I also rotated the sketch 90 degrees and played with the sizes of the blocks. =)

The beautiful rose branch came with the kit, too. It's already been beautifully shaded, all I did was adding some colors with my Copics. The sentiment is from PTI's Autumn Abundance set.

Well, that's all I have for now. Don't forget to check out what all the other members of the TESC Sketch Crew came up with for this sketch!! Here are the links:

Thanks for stopping by!

Dearest Alice, I hope you haven't despaired of me! I've been so sidetracked on some personal issues lately, I haven't had time to visit my friends!

What a gorgeous card!!! I love all the soft colors, and of course the quilted look. So soothing! And you colored the roses so beautifully!

Hugs,
Lisa
