Painter's Pallet

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for Krafty Klubhouse Set Release Blog Hop. Thanks! =)

It's Friday and it's release day over at A Day For Daisies. This week's release is called School Days and here is my card made using one of the lovely images from the new release.

We are also combining this week's release with a new challenge over at A Day For Daisies Blog. The new challenge theme is "Break Out the School Supplies." All you need to do is to incorporate some type of school supplies in your cards/projects. It could be notebook or graphic paper, paper clips, etc. Have fun with it! I am hoping that watercolor pencils count as school supply... =)

The image that I used is called Painter's Pallet and it's printed on watercolor paper, colored with watercolor pencils. After coloring the image, I then went on and made a mess with lots of water and more watercolor to make the splattered background.

The sentiment is from Spring Fling set by Paper Smooches.

That's all for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members came up with using this cute release for the challenge. You can find all the newly released images here! Hope you can join us on the challenge! =)

Have a happy day and thanks for stopping by!
