A Gift From The Stars

Happy Sunday, my friends! I am sharing a baby card that I made a couple of months ago for a friend's baby shower.

Our friends are having a baby girl hence the pinks. =) The image I used is called A Gift From The Stars from A Day For Daisies and it's a freebie! Please go and check out all the beautiful and cute image over at the A Day For Daisies store!

I printed the image on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White card stock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed along the edges. It took me a looooong time to decide if I wanted to fill the night sky (there are stars in it after all), I was afraid that I would mess it up and would then have to start over. I did filled it up with dark blues in the end and thought that it came out ok. =)

The patterned paper is from the Alphabet Soup Girl Paper & Accessaries Kit by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment tag is cut with a piece of patterned paper and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

That's all for now. Have a beautiful Sunday! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

This is so adorable. I love how the image layer is cradled in the ribbon - kind of reflecting the fabric in the tree cradling the baby. You did an awesome job of coloring, especially the night sky. So smooth and no streaks.

Wonderfully precious! Great colors and coloring.
Dabbing on colors in the sketch is definitely great! no streaks and looks very clean. And one thing, placing the pink ribbon gives more adorable factor to your creation!
