Vintage Lantern Clown

Hi ya, my friends! =) It's release day over at A Day For Daisies and this week's release is Vintage Circus. Here is my sample made with one of the new images.

If you like vintage, you'd like these beautiful images that Tammy created. We are combing this week's release with a new challenge at A Day For Daisies Blog and the challenge theme is "Go Vintage and Add Polka Dots."

The image that I used is Vintage Lantern Clown and he is printed on PTI's Rustic White cardstock, cut and embossed using a Long Classic Rectangles Large die then colored with Copic markers. I stamped around the image with the smaller script stamps from Background Basics: Postmark set and Polka Dot Basics set using second generation stamping with Pumice Stone distress ink to mimic the background paper.

The patterned paper is from Follow Your Heart Be Amazing 6x6 Designer Paper Pad By My Mind's Eye. All paper edges are inked with Gathered Twigs distress ink. The sentiment is from Postmarks set also by PTI.

That's all I have. Please go and see what the other design team members came up with using the new release for the challenge here. You can find this week's release here.

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

I love how you distressed sponged and stitched the layers, Alice. While I am no fan of this clown in heels, you can make even that image look gorgeous!
Have a great weekend!
