Sketchfest Saturday

This is for Sketchfest Saturday and also the final sketch at Caardvarks. Big thanks to Caardvarks for the awesome sketches and incredible inspirations for the past week! I enjoyed it very much!!

I fell in love with this little birdie from Pink Petticoat. This cute little birdie belongs to a set of digital images called Chirp Up. I love all the images in that set and the whimsical style the artist has. She also has some freebies on her blog. I love finding talented artists online and the incredible imagination and creativity they have. This is one thing that I am grateful for technology for!
I tried to keep the background simple so that it doesn't overpower the image. Hero Arts background stamps are perfect for this! I am so in love with the Hero Arts Shadow Ink in "soft pool." I used chalk on the DesignBlock Tree.

Anyhoo... Hope you like it and hope you all have a beautiful Sunday!
