Card Creations, Vol. 11 Blog Hop!

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #93. Thanks! =)

Hi and welcome to Card Creations, Vol. 11 Blog Hop! If you arrived from Kalyn Kepner's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Paper Crafts Connection. I am so honored to be hopping with this group of uber talented ladies and that made me really nervous, too! =) Without further ado, here are my cards for the hop.

We were to work with the fabulous Free Downloadable Sentiments from Card Creations, Vol. 11. I chose to work with this fun and festive birthday sentiment.

Inspired by the confetti on the image, I printed it as is (without resizing) on a piece of vellum, stitched three sides of it to a piece of white cardstock and filled the pocket with die cut paper confetti and sequins before sewing it shot. A super easy shaker card! =)

For my second card, I printed the sentiment twice and used the second copy as "embellishments" for decorating the card.

A Couple of my favorite washi tapes and sequins helped finishing the design.

That's all I have. Here is the full hopping list:

Don't forget to leave comments along the way. Each of the designers is giving away a copy of Card Creation, Vol. 11 on her blog!

The deadline for submitting comments is Tuesday, March 12th.

Your next stop is Jaclyn Miller's blog! Have fun! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm so grateful to see how the free digi images are used. I haven't done any digital cardmaking, so seeing the sentiments "in action" is so helpful. You've made it look like I can do it, too! ;-) Getting 2 great cards as inspiration pieces is like getting to take home the leftover cupcake. Love the vellum and confetti. I know a number of kids (of all ages) who'd love getting that.
