Carnival Cupcakes
Happy Monday, my friends! =) I am sharing a card made using a combination of stamps and dies from Mama Elephant and Paper Smooches.
I did the fun ink smooshing technique for the background with Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks. You can see a video of how it's done here by the fabulous Laura Bassen and here is another one (this is the method that I used) by the amazing Betsy Veldman.
Mr. Bear Cupcake is from Mama Elephant's Carnival Cupcakes set. They are stamped with Antique Linen distress ink and colored with Copic markers for the no-line coloring look.
The background piece is die cut using a die from Mama Elephant's Landscape Trio die set and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sugar Rush set.
There is still time to enter your projects to Inspiration Journal's March Challenge - Spring Blooms for a chance to win $50 to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store! Or you can use discount code wonderland at check out when you shop in the Inspiration Emporium Store to receive 10% off your entire order!
That's all for now. Have a sweet day, my friends! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
