Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Krafty Hop!

Hi and welcome to April Krafty Hop! It's release day and all the new stamps are available starting today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. We are releasing a new Playtime Lulu set from Cheryl Alger. There are also TWO fun sets from Emilie Goulet called Bug Buddies 1 and Bug Buddies 2. And there is the set of six Wizard of Oz inspired images from Annie Rodrigue. There is also an Oz Sentients set to go with Annie's new collection!

If you arrived from Jenny's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog. Don't forget to leave comments along the way. TWO lucky commenters will each receive a package of assorted new stamps! Here are my cards for the hop.

I used Dorothy from Annie's Wizard of Oz collection for my first card. I really enjoyed coloring her! =)

Dorothy is stamped on Copic X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Labels 23 die. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die. Both pieces were inked with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks while the paper was still in the die.

The patterned paper is from This & That Graceful 6x6 Paper Pad by Echo Park. I stamped Hero Arts Flower Dot Pattern on the card base for a little interest. The sentiment is from Oz Sentiments set. I am also entering this card to the Use 2 Die Cuts challenge over at Crafty Friends Challenge.

I used the lovely Snail from Emilie's Bug Buddies 2 set for my second card. I adore the cloth line on his "roof top," such fun details! =)

Mr. Snail is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Classic Rectangles Large die. The piece is matted with a piece of green cardstock cut using a Big Scalloped Rectangles Large die before I stitched the layers together. The sentiment piece is cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Small die and matted with the same green cardstock cut using a Petite Ovals Large die.

The patterned paper is from Abroad 6x6 Paper Pack by Studio Calico and the sentiment is included in the Bug Buddies 2 set.

There is also a huge Moving Sale going on with 30-75% off on lots of stamps!

That's all from me. It's time to send you to Elaine's Blog! Remember to leave comments along the way for the chance to win some new stamps and don't forget to check out all the new stamps here. Have fun hopping and good luck! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
