Just A Phone Call Away+ ADFD Challenge #42 and Sweet Peas

Hello, all! It's release day over at A Day for Daisies and this week's release is called Call Your Mother. =) We are combining the release with a new challenge over at A Day For Daisies Blog and here is the challenge.

Here is my card.

The challenge is to use either a calico print or a small flower patterned paper in your cards/projects.

I used Just A Phone Call Away for my card. I love the vintage phone images in this release! The image is printed on PTI's Rustic Cream cardstock, cut and embossed using a Large Labels die then colored with Copic markers.

The little flower print patterned paper is from Pretty Party 6x6 Pad by Crate Paper. I die cut the sentiment from patterned paper using PTI's Block Alphabet die set. Hero Arts Newspaper Background is stamped on the card base using Classic Kraft ink.

Please go and check out what the other design team members created for the challenge using the new release here. You can find all the new images here. Hope you can join us for the challenge! =)

I have one more card today for Timeless Tuesay #166.

This week's challenge is Bingo and I chose the middle across, to use pink, ribbon and die-cut on my card.

I stamped part of the beautiful Sweet Peas on the die cut Rustic Cream cardstock. The image is then colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.

I also stamped the same Sweet Peas image on the card base with matching ink for a little interest. I then added a ribbon tab and a couple of patterned paper tabs from Tea for Two 6x6 Mini Deck by Cosmo Cricket before popping the colored Sweet Peas piece up on foam squares. The sentiment is from Berry Sweet set.

That's all for today. Hope you have a beautiful day! =)

Alice, both cards are gorgeous, although I am partial to the pink Sweet Pea one. I LOVE that set and I LOVE how you used the image only partially. Gorgeous card.
Thanks for participating in the Timeless Tuesday challenge!
Have a great weekend!
