Jamie (my boy) & pillow toy

Instead of bombarding you with another card (or cards) of mine, I decided to show you a fun video that my hubby just uploaded.

I made these "pillow toys" for our cats. It's made using heavy duty fabric stuffed with synthetic fillers with some uncoated wooden buttons sewn on them. For some reason, they love those toys! They love to chew on the wooden buttons. Ok, the fact that we store them in a zip bag with lots of catnips in it probably helps, too. =)

Here it is, enjoy! Or you can watch it on YouTube here.

Do you have a cat or cats at home? What are their favorite toys? How do you keep them entertained? I would love to hear from you!

Oh! Hubby wants me to mention that he "designed" the toy, I just made them. =)

Thats one happy cat! My cat Custard had a purple felt mouse when he was younger. He really love it and played with it every day. All of a sudden he decided he was too grown up for a toy and never touched it again! He now prefers a small air flow ball which he kicks around our hall floor. We have to take it off him at night or else we don't get any sleep as the hall floor is ceramic tiles and it is really noisy! I think you should market those toys!!! Jo x

Oh yes you should definitely market that toy! My cat Miaowski would love it, I'm sure. Her favourite toy is a bean bag mouse but whenever she carries it around she starts miaowing like mad. I don't know whether she thinks it's her baby. Sometimes this occurs at around 2am and then when I get out of bed the next morning I see the mouse left by my bed so maybe it's her way of giving me a present

Hi Alice I have Tom my 3 legged, one eyed cat (currently sporting a bucket on his head) & Smudge. They are both spoilt as they have the run of my downstairs area so get into lots of mischief. Like sleeping all over my materials & ironing board. Plus my crafting area. Smudge loves ping pong balls as well as some of Em's toys. Tom thinks he's too old for toys xoxoxoxoxo

PS your "baby" Jamie is very cute ;D

So cool to see your kitty cat! I have two little beasts. They have eye ball toys that I got on Etsy. These toys look like eye balls and they are about 2 1/2" in diameter. Gotta love cats! Thanks for sharing your baby! :)

I'm thinking the cat nip definitely has something to do with it. (grin) Your Jamie and my Jazzy would make the purrfect couple... they look very similar... short haired tabbies. Jazzy likes to play with the "fishing pole." She wants me to swing it around so she can jump for it, or move it slowly so she can pounce. She even drags it around the house and brings it to me when she wants to play! I love my cats.

How CUTE- I also have a cat (Dennis - named after the menace...) He's very naughty, but loves to chase things. He's at his most fun in the garden - just get a long piece of ivy or a stick and he'll chase it for hours. :)
Jamie is gorgeous.

Oh how fun, love the video Alice! I don't have any cats or dogs, I'm actually allergic to the hair...sad and long story but I break out pretty bad when I'm around them. Thanks for sharing! And I love being bombarded by your cards! ;)

This is too funny! My cats favorite toys are a laser light and then some handmade felt mice stuffed mostly with poly and a bit of catnip.

Yeah, I think the catnip helps, Alice! Your cat is having too much FUN! Cute video!

I LOVE cats! Would empty the cat shelters if I had a place to keep them all. One of my cats is the same coloring as your boy. She loves (of all things!) rubber ear plugs. She loves for me to throw them to her and she leaps up in the air and always manages to bat them back. She looks like a baseball player!
